- Project company on construction of Balkhash coal fired power plant with a capacity of 1320MW sponsored by Samruk-Energy and Samsung C&T (investments exceed US$4 bln) as a limited recourse project finance.
- European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) on financing of transport infrastructure, district heating, water supply and electricity supply in different regions of Kazakhstan.
- Royal Dutch Shell on the acquisition of BG Group’s assets in Kazakhstan (deal value exceeds US$70 billion, the largest M&A deal of 2015 in the world.
- Samruk Energy, the largest energy holding, on US$ 1.3 bln acquisition of 50% shares in Ekibastus Gres -1 power plant from Kazakhmys.
- EBRD in reforming regulation of the airport activities and tariff regulation.
- Financing of the first large solar station construction with capacity 50MW.
