Daniyar has over 14 years of work experience as a legal expert in private companies and state services.

Daniyar specializes in advisory services, focusing on corporate, commercial, labour, customs law, and has been leading large projects, including financial and M&A transactions, legal due diligence, dispute resolutions in state courts and arbitrages, in Kazakhstan and other countries. Daniyar has advised numerous Kazakh and foreign entities on local legal particularities related to litigation and administrative procedures.

Prior to joining Zan Hub, Daniyar has worked as senior attorney in Aequitas law firm, as head of legal department in KMG Drilling & Services LLP, as head of legal department (general counsel) in Seimar Alliance financial corporation and also as senior specialist in the National Bank of Kazakhstan.

Practical experience


  • Advised French aerospace company in connection with the legal advice related to the contribution into Kazakh LLP's charter capital equaling to US$ 100 mln
  • Advised to INDITEX on their operations in Kazakhstan
  • Assisted a Kazakh state owned company in relation to a multimillion dispute with a construction contractor, including assistance in challenging the jurisdiction of foreign arbitration tribunal and application of foreign law
  • Assisted with the successful enforcement of GAFTA arbitral award against local agricultural produce
  • Implemented interim measures with Kazakh courts to secure arbitral claims against the local guarantor
  • Assisted an international law firm in defending Kazakh company in 1 billion USD contentious issue before High Court of Justice (London)
  • Advice on the criminal case instituted in Kazakhstan in relation to international arbitral dispute
  • Advice on the investment protection case initiated by the electricity supplier and its potential implications for a Kazakhstan state-owned company
  • As a leading in-house counsel took part in various tax, debt recovery, corporate, real estate and labor cases with Kazakh courts
