Acquisition of Fincraft Holdings Limited by AEON Corporation from JSC Fincraft Resources

Zan Hub as Kazakh law counsel have represented the interests of LLC “NPO “Altair”, a member of AEON Corporation, with respect to acquisition of Fincraft Holdings Limited (Fincraft) from JSC Fincraft Resources. Fincraft is the largest shareholder in Petropavlovsk PLC.
The Petropavlovsk group of companies is one of the largest Russian companies in this sector, whose roots date back to 1994. In addition, in 2002 Petropavlovsk PLC became the first Russian company in the gold mining sector that has placed its shares on the London Stock Exchange.
This complex transaction involved the following jurisdictions: Russia (Rybalkin, Gortsunyan & Partners, which was leader and coordinator of the project), England & Wales (Macfarlanes), Cyprus (Michael Damianos & Co) and Kazakhstan (Zan Hub).
